A Thought on Depression

Depression can be a stepping stone to the next higher version of ourselves, and, as someone who has experienced depression in the past, this was the case for me. Not that depression is restful – it’s not. It can be deeply painful.

But have you ever felt exhausted by who you thought you had to be – by the weight of your own identity? By the false self that has been a heavy facade to carry?

It’s unnecessary, and it’s time to put it down.
